A demolition permit is required prior to demolishing a house or accessory structure larger than 10 m² (108 ft²); or filling in a swimming pool.

Before you start your application process, ensure you have:

• reviewed the Residential Demolition Permit Guide
• confirmed whether your property has heritage protection or is on a steep slope (see DeltaMap)
• completed application forms
• gathered the submission requirements

Application Forms and Requirements (must be in PDF format):

• Form - Owner's Undertaking and Authorization (Schedule 2 & 3) (all owners on title of subject property(ies) must sign)
• Form - Residential Demolition
• Certificate of Insurance
• Rodent Inspection and Control Declaration Form

Please note the following:

• Applications submitted online will be charged an additional 2.5% credit card administration fee.
• The application fee is non-refundable.
• Your data will not be saved unless you provide payment.
• A timeout will occur if you are inactive for 15 minutes and your data will not be saved.
• All *mandatory fields must be completed.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected.
